Versatile packaging buckets for every feasible application around the house and garden
Remco Meijer, Specialist Pet food, Garden/Fertilisers & Industry
The packaging buckets from Dijkstra Plastics are perfect to use around the house. Our buckets are used for the packaging of bird seeds, fat balls, fertilizer granules, grass seeds and road salt. Since the products remain dry in the packaging buckets and can be sealed in again and again, the contents can be stored for a long time, whereas the environment remains odour-free and pests are kept out.
Dijkstra Plastics actively promotes the use of PCRs (Post Consumer Recycled material) for the packaging of fertilizers, road salt and other non-food applications. Why would you continue to use prime materials if there are countless possibilities for using recycled raw materials instead?
Giving packaging the appearance that showcases your company is important to distinguish your product in the market. Both bucket and lid can be made in the colour of your choice. And thanks to high-quality In-Mould Labelling (IML) technology, we give every packaging the ultimate attention value. In addition to photo-realistic printing, many applications and variations are possible.
The shape of the bucket can mean a lot in ease of use, logistics costs or attention value. You can choose from a wide range of round, square or rectangular buckets with all desired capacity sizes. By using different types of brackets and lids, we offer all the solutions for your packaging needs.
We use 100% recyclable raw materials (polypropylene). Depending on the application of the bucket, we can make various applications possible through specifications. A bucket can be made more suitable for freezing, or for hotfill, drop resistance or other product-specific requirements. And of course, we have very sustainable solutions made of recycled plastic, PCR (Post Consumer Recycled).

BRCGS is a standard for food safety. The standard describes the hygiene and food safety requirements for food processing companies that supply directly to the retail sector. You can also think of packaging materials for foodstuffs.
The FSSC 22000 Standard has been created through Stichting Certificatie Voedselveiligheid (SCV). As a food-oriented version of the ISO 22000 Standard, this certification programme has been set up as a global guideline in food safety and quality within various industries. This standard is aimed at the entire production chain and as such, it is ideally suited for international harmonisation, partly thanks to the recognition by the GFSI. In addition to its connection with ISO 22000, the FSSC 22000 has many comparisons with the HACCP criteria, making it an attractive variant with the best of both worlds from these programmes. Thanks to the internationally accepted nature of the FSSC and the chain-wide approach within this certification programme, we recognise a strong food safety management system in this standard.
