The folding lid
The folding lid is suitable for a wide range of applications. For example, store ingredients or accessories so that they are in a sturdy and splash-proof container. Or use this packaging to store dogfood. There is definitely an application that is right for you! This type of lid can also be used for all our rectangular packaging with a capacity of 12 to 33 litres.
Sustainable
The simple use of the folding mechanism allows this type of lid to be opened and re-closed frequently. As a result, this type packaging can be re-used many times.
Because both the bucket and lid are made of polypropylene, they can be completely recycled. In addition, it is possible to order this packaging in recycled plastic. This is certainly recommended if a non-food product is stored in this packaging.
This series of rectangular buckets is equipped with an almost flat bottom which makes these buckets very easy to clean. This makes the re-use of these buckets simple and clean. For the whole range of rectangular buckets, they can also be equipped with the durable IML printing technique. This makes this packaging personalized all-over and scratch-resistant.

FIRE-OFF: our new start-up for circular plastic production
We are proud to announce that we have started a new start-up to make the production of recycled plastic buckets circular: FIRE-OFF. On the initiative of Dijkstra Plastics, painting companies, the hospitality industry and festival organisations are personally approached to save empty buckets and to hand them in at the weekly FIRE-OFF pick-up point.

Plastic bottle caps are worth money!
We have donated buckets for the Oogappeltjes Foundation and KNGF Guide Dog Foundation. These buckets are placed in supermarkets, and customers can fill them with their plastic bottle caps. KNGF receives a fee per kilo of caps. We truly enjoy contributing to such a wonderful initiative!

BRC Packaging
BRCGS is a standard for food safety. The standard describes the hygiene and food safety requirements for food processing companies that supply directly to the retail sector. You can also think of packaging materials for foodstuffs.
FSSC 22000
The FSSC 22000 Standard has been created through Stichting Certificatie Voedselveiligheid (SCV). As a food-oriented version of the ISO 22000 Standard, this certification programme has been set up as a global guideline in food safety and quality within various industries. This standard is aimed at the entire production chain and as such, it is ideally suited for international harmonisation, partly thanks to the recognition by the GFSI. In addition to its connection with ISO 22000, the FSSC 22000 has many comparisons with the HACCP criteria, making it an attractive variant with the best of both worlds from these programmes. Thanks to the internationally accepted nature of the FSSC and the chain-wide approach within this certification programme, we recognise a strong food safety management system in this standard.
