It is a super company that makes attractive products for a great many customers. And we do that in our own way! With perfect quality, good delivery performance and in a sustainable manner. We would like to thank everyone who has made a contribution to achieving all this. This means suppliers, partners, customers and our employees. Without all these people, none of this would have been possible.
A lot has changed over the years in the packaging industry, and we can confidently say that Dijkstra Plastics has successfully developed and moved along with the times. We have every confidence in the future! We know that not everything can be taken for granted at this time, and that circumstances across the world are far from rosy today. But better times will be back again, for everyone. The past 45 years have proven that. And we will be continuing in that positive frame of mind.
Fantastic developments are happening in sustainability and innovation. As Dijkstra Plastics, we are ready to move ahead with this challenging transition. We are currently working on numerous new developments. These are aimed at a more sustainable world in which everyone can use our products responsibly. Recycling, circularity, climate neutrality, new business models, closed loops. There is nothing we won’t rise to in moving towards a sustainable future. We will pursue our ambitions and duties as a producer with all our knowledge, skill and experience gained over the past 45 years. We will also soon be proud to present our new activity which makes us the first producer in the Netherlands to literally roll up our sleeves. More coming soon!
We would like to use this newsletter to thank you all: you have contributed to bringing Dijkstra Plastics to where it is today. Thanks to you we can and will continue to make a difference.
So here’s to a promising future!
Yours faithfully,
Team Dijkstra Plastics
BRC Packaging
The British Retail Consortium (BRC)introduced this certification programme in 1998. The programme focuses on food safety and quality within an organisation. A company is tested on more than 300 aspects to check to what extent it meets the standard that is set. A rating indicates to what degree a company complies with the GSFI-recognised standard of the BRC.
Aspects such as traceability, cleanliness, operational control, training and management of suppliers are included, which together form the basis of the BRC. Thanks to the name that the BRC has built up, it has been a reputable name in the world of certification programmes for years and we are proud to be able to show our results within this programme.
FSSC 22000
The FSSC 22000 Standard has been created through Stichting Certificatie Voedselveiligheid (SCV). As a food-oriented version of the ISO 22000 Standard, this certification programme has been set up as a global guideline in food safety and quality within various industries. This standard is aimed at the entire production chain and as such, it is ideally suited for international harmonisation, partly thanks to the recognition by the GFSI. In addition to its connection with ISO 22000, the FSSC 22000 has many comparisons with the HACCP criteria, making it an attractive variant with the best of both worlds from these programmes. Thanks to the internationally accepted nature of the FSSC and the chain-wide approach within this certification programme, we recognise a strong food safety management system in this standard.
