CUSTOMISATION

A tamper-evident closure shows whether a package has been opened before or not. 

The type of closure is designed in such a way that it remains attached to the bucket and therefore does not fall into the bucket after being openend.

Our product sheets indicate per product whether a tamper-evident closure is standard included or not. Some of our models offer both options.

Almost all of our packaging buckets can be provided with multiple lids. 

Ultimately, we distinguish between standard lids, seal lids, and alternative lids. The type of lid available for each product is specified in its product specification.

Lids can be ordered in a wide range of colours. Selected models can be supplied with IML decoration.

Our packaging buckets can be provided with various types of handles.

We distinguish between plastic handles (either short on the collar (KBKT) or hanging (KBS) and metal handles, which can optionally be fitted with a plastic grip.

The product specification for each bucket clearly indicates which handle options are available.

IML (In-Mould Labelling) is a decoration process in which a full-colour label is melted into the packaging bucket, during the injection moulding process. This creates a durable, scratch-resistant finish with a premium appearance.

All packaging buckets manufactured by Dijkstra Plastics are made from perfectly recyclable polypropylene (PP).

We distinguish between virgin PP (new polypropylene) and recycled PP (rPP), which is produced from recycled plastic. You can find more information about our materials, including our RecyClass certification, on our About Us page.

Important: As off now, rPP materials can only be used for the production of packaging buckets intended for non-food applications. If you have any questions, please contact our Sales Department.

Besides applying an IML print to the packaging, your bucket can be produced in a lot of colours.
